The Department of Psychology, Carmelgiri College, Adimali, officially inaugurated the Humantra Association for the academic year 2026–27 on 17 August 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Psychology Hall. The programme was organized by the Department of Psychology with the objective of providing students with opportunities for academic enrichment, personal development, leadership, and active participation in departmental activities. The inauguration was conducted by Principal Dr. Sunil T. K., Carmelgiri College, who formally inaugurated the association and encouraged the students to make meaningful use of the various opportunities provided through the association.
The programme also featured the presence of Sreejith Chirakkal, Trainer and Inspirational Speaker, who served as a resource person for the inaugural programme. His presence added significant value to the event, particularly by motivating students towards personal growth, positive thinking, leadership, and the development of essential life skills. Sr. Jesna CMC, Psychologist and Head of the Department of Psychology, also played an important role in the programme and encouraged students to actively engage in the activities of the association. The programme was coordinated by Alphina Antony, Student Programme Coordinator, with the participation and support of students and faculty members of the department.
