Carmelgiri College joined the global community in commemorating World Blood Donor Day on June 14th, a day dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of voluntary blood donors and raising awareness about the importance of regular blood donation in saving lives.
Organized by the NSS Unit in collaboration with the Department of Languages and Blood Donor's Forum, the event emphasized this year’s theme, Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives, focusing on the need for regular donation to ensure a sustainable supply for emergencies and ongoing medical treatments.
Highlights of the day included an awareness E- Poster Making Competition and a Blood Donation Campaign on 18th June in association with Morning Star Hospital, Adimali. Over 25 students and faculty members registered as donors, showcasing the college's strong commitment to community welfare.
Carmelgiri College continues to promote the message that every drop counts, and by donating blood, we can give others a second chance at life.
